How much can I earn?

You receive 50% of the ad revenue generated by valid views and clicks on your machine. Earnings depend on advertiser demand and eligible activity, and are not guaranteed.

Does it read my code or prompts?

No. The mod fetches ads and reports ad events for measurement and billing. It never reads your prompts, code or files, and sponsored content does not enter Claude’s context.

Where do the ads appear?

In local Claude Code terminal and Desktop Code sessions. The terminal shows a card when the full card fits, otherwise a labelled spinner line. Desktop shows a card above the prompt while Claude works. VS Code extension panels, cloud sessions and non-interactive runs are outside the supported scope.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. Use /ads pause to pause sponsorship and /ads resume to start again. You can also revoke a linked machine from your dashboard.

Is SpinSponsor available yet?

Launch is in preparation. Public installation and account access are not available from this marketing site yet. The setup guides below explain what you will need when the app opens.

Is this an official Anthropic product?

No. SpinSponsor is an independent product. Claude and Claude Code are Anthropic products; references here describe compatibility.

Developer setup guide

When the app opens, create a developer account and accept the developer terms and privacy notice. Then install the released mod from the official SpinSponsor installation guide and run /ads login to link your machine.

After linking, you can check /ads status, pause ads at any time, and view earnings in your dashboard.

The public app and installation link will be added here at launch.

Advertiser campaign guide

Prepare your company name, a concise ad line of up to 60 characters, an HTTPS destination URL and a budget. You can also prepare a card’s supporting line and link label.

When the app opens, create your advertiser account, submit your campaign for review and fund it before it runs. Launch access and final terms will be provided then.
