Privacy notice
This notice covers the SpinSponsor website and its waitlist. The SpinSponsor app, Mod and dashboards will have their own notice when they open.
Who we are
SpinSponsor is operated by SecAI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17387103. Registered office: Anglo Dal House, 5 Spring Villa Park, Spring Villa Road, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 7EB. SecAI Ltd is the controller of your data. Contact: contact@spinsponsor.com.
What we collect, and why
If you join the waitlist: your email address, whether you joined as a developer or an advertiser, the date and time you joined, and which version of this notice you agreed to. We use them to email you when SpinSponsor opens. If you join as an advertiser, we may also email you directly to talk about setting up your first campaign. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
When you visit: our host, Cloudflare, handles your connection, including your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. To limit repeated sign-ups, Cloudflare briefly counts sign-up attempts per IP address. We don’t save IP addresses in our waitlist, and we’ve switched off our own request logs. Cloudflare may keep its own security records. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Visitor statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the home page and measure how fast it loads: which page was viewed, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type, country, and page-load timings. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, and doesn’t identify you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
This website doesn’t set cookies, and we don’t use advertising trackers or profiling.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until 12 months after SpinSponsor opens, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first. If SpinSponsor hasn’t opened within 12 months of the day you joined, we delete your details then. When we delete details, they leave our database straight away; Cloudflare’s automatic database backups expire them within 30 days.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and stores the waitlist in a database kept in the European Union. Cloudflare may handle connection data in other countries, including the United States; transfers to the United States rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as set out in Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum. When an advertiser joins, the website emails us an alert containing their email address, so we can get in touch. Our inbox is provided by Google (Gmail), which may store it in the United States under Google’s own data-transfer safeguards. Alerts are deleted on the same schedule as the waitlist.
We don’t sell or share your details with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your details, ask us to limit how we use them, object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing contact@spinsponsor.com. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the version date above.
